Dr. James Onyinye Mbakpuo holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics and a BSc in Project Management from the University of Economics and Humanities in Łódź, Poland. He also earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA), a Master of Laws (LLM) in Business Law, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Real Estate Management from LIGS University in Hawaii, USA. Additionally, he holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from EDU Effective Business School in Prague, Czech Republic, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Project Management from LIGS University.
Dr. Mbakpuo began his career as a Business Development Consultant in the education and international recruitment sector, where he supported universities and training institutions in attracting and integrating international students. Through this work, he built partnerships across Africa, Europe, and Asia, driving enrolment growth and creating sustainable recruitment networks.
He later transitioned into Management and Business Consulting, focusing on operations, strategy, and business growth. Working with SMEs and start-ups, he refined business models, streamlined processes, and implemented cost-saving strategies. One of his notable achievements was helping a start-up cut operational costs by 25% while boosting revenue through strategic market positioning.
Expanding his expertise, Dr. Mbakpuo has provided international business and project management consulting, as well as mentorship for entrepreneurs. He has guided clients from concept development to market entry, managed complex cross-border projects, and helped businesses secure funding and expand into new markets.
As an author and lecturer, he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business administration, project management, and finance—both online and at several Polish universities. His teaching and consulting are defined by a global outlook, analytical rigor, and a results-oriented approach.
Dr. Mbakpuo also holds numerous diploma’s and certificates from some of the most prestigeous universities and institutions around the globe, his also a member of PMI and is also a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt in process improvement, accredited by the Six Sigma Global Institute in the United States
