I specialize in business development, internationalization and technology commercialization – particularly in the context of emerging markets and less obvious expansion directions. At Popowski Advisory, I support clients in turning innovative solutions into concrete business projects and in building scalable models for entering foreign markets.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship & Business Innovation from Tilburg University in the Netherlands, where I combined my studies with developing my first business in the apparel industry. I gained international experience in Finland, where as an exchange student I deepened my understanding of the Scandinavian and Baltic business ecosystem, and in Sweden, where I completed my master’s degree in Knowledge-Based Entrepreneurship at the University of Gothenburg and worked as a business developer in a deep-tech start-up in the nanotechnology sector.
I further developed my expertise in emerging markets in Rwanda, where, as part of my master’s thesis, I spent several months researching a fast-growing innovation ecosystem and applications of artificial intelligence in business. This experience marked the beginning of my specialization in African markets. Another important step in my international journey was a student exchange in China at SKEMA Business School in Suzhou, where I engaged with local investors, entrepreneurs and the academic community, gaining first-hand insight into how Chinese companies grow and scale.
I am particularly interested in geopolitics and global trends in new technologies and innovation. In my free time, I travel, do sports and read non-fiction.
